Here's some pics of my hydrostream I just picked up. Has a Merc 200 black max, Manual jackplate, hot foot steering wheel trim and the usual stuff. Havnt had it on the water yet so I'm not sure what it's going to run. Hoping for mid 80s.does anyone know where to get a replacement windshield rail?mines pretty bent on the one side.

Nice ride!!! check the steering cables are tight Its dual cable mechanical steering not hydrallic, looks like one was replaced and is a different length.nothing wrong with mechanical steering btw. Solid motor mounts are good to have too check if you have them. That boat is going to fly, take your time and get some seat time and enjoy. There are some great hydrostream and small v-pad guys one here that can assist in setup. Check your prop shaft height and post some more pics.

Steve

Okay thanks Steve. How Do I check if I have solid motor mounts? And how high should I set my motor, even with the pad? Right now it's a few inches below the pad and it has a low water pickup.

Very cool vector. I don't think I've seen that colour combo before.

I would start at 1/2 below and slowly work your way up. Post some more pics when you get a chance, very interesting boat. pics of the prop and lower.

i like the steering cables the best, im with dok that is a sweet gel job, with a low water pickup you can go way up with your motor, try even with the pad and go up from there 1/4" at a time.. solid mounts are just that,, SOLID,, stock ones are rubber your motor will have some play in it between the clamp and mid. what kind of speeds are you seeing now with your setup? what rpm are you turning? what prop ?

as long as the hull is solid i think we can get it into the 90's.. i think i have THE prop too try..

Okay ill give that a try. Thanks for the help! Sorry about all the questions im still learning. Will need to take a better pic with the motor down but I have this one on my phone. I think it has a bobs nose cone and the prop says quicksilver 28 pitch on it. Lower unit needs to be re sprayed that will be my first project.
