Very cool Matt. Was the original rigging for a Merc? The colour scheme looks like one I remember seeing in a magazine build project back in the early 90's. Any idea of the weight of the hull? |

Congrats Matt. Nice looking boat. Mine is also a '92. That is the first year Wally started building the V21. What is the hull number. |

Thanks guys, I'm pretty pumped. I have wanted one of these since I read the Hot Boat test article (1994-1996 ish I think, unfortunately I tossed all of them 10+ years ago). Greg, I think that's what you're thinking of. The test boat was this same colour scheme, with a Mariner 225 Super Mag on it. After seeing a few in person (Wildcat's and a couple in Jasper) I could not say no to this one. I'm not sure what it weighs, I will try to get it on scale before rigging it. It was rigged for a Merc 260 previously, but I think it's been partially re-rigged a couple times, some questionable electrical stuff going on. I'll continue to post rigging pics to this thread as I make headway. Matt |
