well, moved the jack plate up on the transome this weekend, now at full lift the propshaft is even with the pad. this is with 8" setback, the 13.6 renegade prop is WAY to small though, with more height it blows out at random. goint to try a 14.5" 28" raker or a tempest plus. had to fix a leak in the right tear seam on the weekend as well. I'm going to see how well it will run with a bigger prop and the 8" setback. Added more speakers and some bling, will post picks in the next few weeks. Off to the Top Gun prop shop LOL

Ran a bunch of prop on Sunday with V8 charged (Mark) and Wildcat (Tom) found a great prop for my ae, a 15/18" 27 p Solaris Scorpion, acceleration was gteat and it bit even with the pad at 8" back, 81.6 mph with a half tank of gas and a passenger and just below 85 alone. the speed is getting there. I'm going to see if I can stretch the steering cables two more inches out remove the teo inch bobs spacers and add a 4" setback bracked to get 10" setback and another inch plus in height.Great bunch of guys, it was my best run this summer.
