Where do you guys get your lines made?

Hydraulic steering, trim, jack plate.....

I've had these guys make me up a few lines in the past. Normally they will make your lines up on the spot. I have had some difficulty getting proper fittings though without the use of ugly adaptors.

That said I have always had better luck just getting used lines from Top Gun

I had bought mine from teleflex but needed fittings to tie it all together as mine passes cleanly through a bulk head. Regional Hose in Guelph was where I went for fittings. Don't know where you are located but there must be a local hydraulic shop in your area. Regional hose has a few different branches. Give them the specs you want and they can make darn near anything including the fittings of your choice. Here is a link to them.

My local NAPA store does custom hydraulic lines and if the reqd fittings aren't on the shelf they'll have em next morning.

I have a supplier, several actually.
Just wanted to know if you needed a resource.
I had mine done with stainless JIC fittings.

Post it! I know people are always looking for a good hydraulics guy...especially if he's familiar with seastar or merc fittings (it's hard to explain to the autoparts guys sometimes)...

Agreed, I had to get some merc inline trim hoses made up last year and the only guy I could find that knew what i needed was Billy from Moreland Hose in Long Island, he is a great guy and resource too, but something in Ontario would be great.

I searched around to a few places before finding Regional Hose. They were not familiar with marine systems but they knew all the fitting styes and were able to match the lines up with fittings I needed. I got lucky I think as they were really knowledgeable, especially the guy I was dealing with.

Most of the guys I deal with are not familiar either.
However, if you know what you want, they can get it.
I am working with Roth Industrial to have him stock the thermoplastic line and SS fittings.
Parker has trim and steering specific marine hoses and fittings but they don't deal with the public.
My current hoses are Hansa-Flex. Made in Canada(Concord). but, they don't have the correct flare fittings for the factory connections. Parker does but they want quantity orders not the onesy twoseys.
I converted all of mine to JIC fittings which are readily available in steel. They usually need to be ordered in stainless.
I have an order in with Roth right now, so I'll keep you posted on how it turns out.
I have dealt with Roth for years and they have been good at getting the "weird" stuff for me.

Fluid Hose and Couplings could not help us and neither could Cisco

D J Industrial did them for me first but I had to hold their hand. Big PITA!!

I am also in negotiations to get bulk line and fittings with a crimping machine for my shop. Stay tuned.
