I take it your running 91 octane mistah max? Im looking to keep it on 87 octane if possible to keep my running costs down. But from a thread I found on scream and fly, a one gallon gas tank is gone in 3 minutes at idle lol

yes I do. they are 24cc instead of the stock 25cc head. mine get about 3.5mi/gallon at 40mph...those engines arent known for economy lol...

pyro on s&f runs a thicker 2.4l 200 gasket witch brings down the compression number and runs 87octane going on 6 or 7 yrs...he ran 95 with that engine on a vegas..seems to work very well

That's a black motor on the back boomer, and if you watch, it kited twice. I gotta get mine back together and take some videos next year. I'm turning over 7000 rpm (as high as my tach goes) and I want to hear it! Once I get up there all I can hear is wind noise lol

It is Pyro's boat. I watched a few of his videos when I first bought my boat, asked him how he was spinning his motor at 7000 plus, and how it was holding up. I've been running mine there ever since lol

but yours isnt a bp ? close enough i guess, not much different from what i can see, in my 200 vs bp vs mod vp. different exhaust ports and a few pounds.. what is the recommended rpm for your 200? vs a bp,

I have a 3 piece flywheel. Lightweight as far as I'm concerned. It's a small hub with a piece of sheet metal holding the ring gear/magnets. They are different motors (bp vs mine) but mine has run fine for 3 years over 7000 rpm. Recommended rpm is 5800 if I remember correctly.
