Post subject:  Another GT30 motor...What is the problem with this model?

OMC 3 cylinder short shafts 25 and 30 hp.

I am guessing that the only difference in the 25 to 35 model is the carb jets, maybe reed stops and timing. We don't hear much about this model as a race motor. This motor could run in GT30 and you would think it would be killer looking at the power head. Anyone ever own one and can tell us about how it ran?

i think alot of these blow up early in life, unless they were not used alot,i maybe wrong, but i dont think they made them long, i know were there is a non runner now
