So what year can I use in the Yamaha trim/tilt, swivel bracket conversion on a 75 hp ss Johny?
I find that they are hard to come by and I would like to open up my option and how about the swivel bracket from a 65 hp Suzuki any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. Mike

I think it is '86 and newer...it HAS to be the 3 ram style. I don't know about the bazuki...

Keep in mind they are heavy and set your motor further back. Also they need a wedge to achieve negative trim, even further back.
There are some interference issues to deal with at the bottom trim position.
If you have a 5" setback already, you can fit a horizontal ram with-in it, no hole in the boat. (Using old style Merc trim ram) Jake did it on his Critch and it works great. #33

I thought of the horizontal ram set up but I never cared for setback on my Delta, I never liked the way she handled the rough stuff with 3.5" of setback let alone 5", then again this would be for a spare motor I pick up, I'm not sure what the plans are for this motor yet but since it's apart I thought I would address this issue. Thanks for the help.
