Post subject:  260 MAP elbow?

After poking around a bit with some engine problems this year I found that the elbow fitting on my horn was pretty gummed up with old fuel/ash.
Would this cause a running rich condition?

i dont know anything about 260's.... but if you sell it and buy a 3.1 yamaha you will go faster, run regular gas and have oil injection..... :mrgreen:

Ya but I'd like to get there (fast) before November.

Dave I think you hit the nail on the head in your pm. This issue was likely self induced as I had to fog it on the bench.

I think part of the issue was that i pulled the powered last year before i winterized it. I then fogged the shit out of it by turning it with the starter motor and the plugs pulled. I've cleaned out the tygon, elbows and regulator.
Hopefully that will put some snap back into it.
