The gauge has 0-30 psi in normal riding where should the indicator be?

10psi is a good target...I wouldn't venture much below for cruising and above...idle is like 2psi..

It doesnt reach 10 psi ..does that mean I need a waterpump replacement?

I would say...but...where is it hooked up? I think it was common for OMC to hook into the pisser for the pressure gauge...is the pisser strong?

Not very strong, in idle I thought because of the low pick up

Sounds like you need a pump....There's a couple good OMC guys here that may know if you should replace the pump body or just the impeller...

was this on the hose or in the lake??? If its just on the hose you won't build pressure...
