If the 2.0 pushes enough volume to work the imco ram it should be ok.. so the issue i have with the idea of seastar is : the 26 martini according to the manual we set up the Cylinders in Parallel and from lock to lock its 14 turns.... Fuck that... the Velocity even though its not a sea star helm the seastar cylinders are set up in Series and its hard as fuck to turn but has the same turns to lock as a single engine set up (ideal).. and the reason i am comparing the seastar cylinder to the Imco is because it has almost the exact same Cylinder size, Stroke and Ram diameter.. so it would be very similar to the Volume of hydraulic fluid. so a single Imco ram with a 2.0 Helm would work fine. ad another and it will be very heavy just like the twin set up of Jo's but maybe a Power steering assist pump would be just perfect?? yanno.. PA pump is 1500PSI max... |

Jordan's is set up like Dave's and even with the capilano helm it's stiff...but I'd still call and make sure that helm will work in a high performance setup. They're nice people. |
