I used pool noodles. Just stuffed them in the sides. The amount you need depends on the diameter and length of the pool noodles and if they have a hole in the center of them. I think I had about 44 of the 2.5" diameter pool noodles from home hardware. The floatation got put to the test last season. It worked.

Pi x Radius squared x length = volume of your pool noodle. Don't forget to subtract the amount of the hole inside if it has one.
2.5Gal tank is what I used. More than enough for 2 heats. Usually heats are back to back so you need enough for both.

Kevin

For Critch we used pool noodles, easy to secure under deck. I shot expanding window/door foam into each end like a cannoli to plug void.
For Voodoo I used blue dock foam cut/formed to fit in large blocks, strapped down; this stuff expensive, try to get this from someone's old floating dock.

tunnelv did experiments with pool noodles in the river. the large ones with hole would hold 19lbs i think. found difficult to get 20 noodles in the delta style hull so went with cuting and glueing foam underneath. keep in mind you want to have enough cause it won't kind of float. It will either float or if you don't have enough it will sink!

Events are also not equipped to find or raise a boat... you'd have to hire a diver or something... $$$.

I saw an inboard hydro use nylon bags filled with ping pong balls... seemed to work well as it would conform to fit tight areas. He said he bought cases of them online.

if 1 standard lifejack works for a 250lbs person, 3 should work for a t boat.

Won't work. A 200lb motor is going to sink way easier than a 200lb person. Density

The only thing to do with dentistry is that nitrous bottle you keep huffing on
