can someone please tell me the total width of the exhaust port on a 56 omc bridgeport inc the bridge.
and the actual width of the bridge would be good.
Also is this width the same as sst60 ?

trying to find the total area of the exhaust for normal 56 bridgeport and also sst60.

Total surface area on the Bridgeport/sst60 is larger than the oval port

The APBA homologation specs for the SST60 show the measurements of the exhaust ports. You should obtain a copy to work out the measurements.

I do have a copy of the sst60 spec sheet, it dont tell you the width of the bridge or the total width of exhaust.
Just tells you each port size.
I can understand everyone saying the bridgeport is bigger, but is the size of the middle bridge being taken into consideration when measuring the total area of exhaust ?
the actual amount of area that the bridge is taking up is not mentioned anywhere.

also the apba spec sheet only shows width of the port, dont even mention total height from what I am seeing.

Just give up! Whatever you're trying to accomplish is never going to work anyway.

you might be correct, it might not work.
But that would be going totally against what your superiors in the engine tuning business think !!!.

Excluding the bridge, the total surface area is greater in the Bridgeport than the oval.

Really and truly, you are focusing on the wrong thing. Get a proper boat first. Pigs don't fly for a reason - even if they did have wings

Well jake I am very surprised you didn't know the exact measurements.

can you tell me by how much the area is larger ?

Why is I ask a simple question about actual sizes and it has caused people get frustrated.

I want to know actual sizes as what is written down in the omc comics seems to be incorrect.

total port height and width is essential for me to get what I want. width of the bridge is also needed to be known.
being as I do not have a old Bridgeport to tear down and inspect I asked here as a few on here profess to be specialists in
this very department.

Maybe if you didnt talk down to everyone, and you stopped acting like a dick, people would actually help you. Its been said before in this thread, your focusing on the wrong issue. Get a different boat or youll ruin your motor but you are too thick to listen
