Can it be rebuilt or is it destroyed? |

Last time I checked CMC weren't very forthcoming with parts, they just want to sell new assemblies for Big $$. Could be that an outside hydraulics supplier can help. |

Try contacting Bob's Machine Shop in Florida. They sell a motor/pump assembly that is used on their Jack Plates. It is a hydraulic pump and the pressure is adjustable on both the in and out travel on the cylinder. In you case, up and down. |

I replaced the motor on mine last summer. I took it to where they repair alternators and starters, he couldn't fix it so he ordered one from one of the companies he deals with. Pricey though, $325 tax incl. and that's with no pump. |

The Bobs pump is the same as a Merc trim pump and the merc trim hosed work also. I have the same setup on my AE. You also end up with a plate that cycles up and down allot faster . Make sure the rest of your plate is in good shape, some of them elongated around the slots on the side. |
