OH Yah I didnt mention how my Yamaha 250 Vmax runs Fantastic I borrowed my friend Hydromotive Quad iv 30 p 4 bladed raising the lift 2 or more or less inches the rpms ar 5500 I got low 80's raised so it would tach out around 6000 rpms 87 Why is the 250 Yamaha say 5500.00 and the limiter is at 6150 no chine walk More info later In the photos you will notice 2 holes along with several rusty spots. Those rusty spots are the heads of screws Yes SCREWS. They screwed in from the bottom of the boat into the boat .The area concerned if you are in the boat from the stern to the back of the boat on both sides The area concerned is where the boat sits on the bunks when I did my inspection prior of purchase I didnt see anything Oh Well |

Holy crap! I would address that.... you gotta remember.... the factory that built that boat used to sweep the floors and use the sh!t they swept up to filll strakes...... I am no expert... But I would fix that before delamination/sinking. |

Was that hull repaired at one time? It looks like there is filler or something over the screws. I would address it too ASAP. |

"Good Luck Charlie" Don't let that Duck up your weekend. The screws have been there for a while by the look of it Seal them, just for now and run it. Keep it on the lift or on the trailer over night. Enjoy your weekend and be safe. P.S. The Yamaha does look good on her. |
