I am setting up bunk stands on a new trailer.
Would be a big help if anyone had a template or cad drawing of the transom I could use with the angle and lifting strake positions.
mine has tabs and other protrusions which makes tracing it onto a piece of plywood kind of a pain

i lifted my boat off the trailer with an over head crane and backed the new trailer under then clamped the bunks where is wanted and had them welded in place. worked great.. if you have adjustable bunks then same think minus the welder...

Exactly what James said. Lift the boat a few inches off the trailer, line up your bunks and fit them with the boat and trailer right there, no guess work or patterning involved.
