To me 106 is totally believable with a 280...it has all the right parts and honestly with 260 electrics that should be a very fast combo.
My big thing isn't even the mystery powerhead (which I'm sure is modded to shit) it's the lower. In order to go fast you need to jack it to the moon and with that tiny skeg it's not going 117. I have no idea if the guy knows anything about making power so I'll assume the motor is strong but if he couldn't run teens with a 280 he ain't running teens with that combo.
If there were more speed in the boat Ken would have gone faster...
