Post subject:  Need help identifying this hull

I have tried a couple different forums to identify this hull ,so far no luck. I am sure it was made in Ontario I have seen one other . Thought it was a Humber Jewel but this has a three point hull not a v bottom. It is 13ft long and 61/2ft wide. I think this hull came from around Huntsville. Any help would be great. In the process of rebuilding and trying to figure how big a motor to put on it.

Must be a Humber Jewel unless it's a flip. Kid down the street from me has one with a 60 Merc, looks the same.
Every one I ever saw (back in the day) had a 35 - 40 Hp Johnny.

It's a flip of a Humber jewel...with a point added to the bow and some smoothing. The jewel wasn't a vee bottom either...it has a flat area with two strakes on either side.

Take a picture of the "pad" area of the hull.

The back of this one has been modified to have a V at the back. Was a flat bottom , you can see where the transom was cut down when they added the v . Sent pictures to Humber Boat Company and they told me it is not a Jewel. I have changed the transom to take a long shaft engine , 60 to 75 evinrude.

Oh shit...no that's not even a copy of a jewel...definitely unique. I haven't seen anything like that before. It'll be cool with a little Stinger or something

That is like no other hull I have ever seen!!?? The guy that designed it may have had suffered from some prolonged styrene exposure!!?? :D Great job refinishing it! It will be interesting to hear how it runs! ... its cool to have something that nobody else has.
