I figured a set would probably end up at your place.. *I'm having a set printed out at 40% to build a large scale r/c too* |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXBolhOzvLM I think it would be perfect with a light weight 40hp Mariner/Yamaha/Tohatsu on it! |

Unfortunately, Yamato 302(~30hp, 95lb) doesn't have recoil for cottage use. At ~$2000 for used 302, purpose built race engine, cable steering, steering bar, left hand deadman throttle, small gearcase, install vacuum gas pump to draw from tank, change from sit down to kneeler to shift weight for airing out down straights vs cornering, .... with 130-160lb driver, ~50-55mph. Tunnel hull racing class! Same engine & 2 boats on race day, Kids(12-15) run tunnel hull(50-55mph), Dads(16+) run CSH(63-66mph). If someone builds, keep it a kneeler before putting in seat, we should try with Yamato 302. |

If this has any chance of being a class then I'm even more excited... |
