With the cost and life span of the new 4 stroke outboards and the arrival of small, light, low maintenance and less costly IO motors,
maybe there is a place for these motors in performance boating and even racing.
Put one of these is a 300 lb., 15 foot V hull and it would be a nice combo.

The vazer program was killed by mercury a few years back. It didn't work....i think that weight is without the drive and transom.
