Anyone see this? I thought it was pretty good! Christian Bale is always entertaining...

Racing ain't what it used to be...

Haven't seen it yet but it's on the list. It was a different time for sure...

I do plan on watching this film soon. I recently watched "The 24 Hour War" on Netflix. Same story, but the documentary version. I think good to see the real thing, then the movie. Or maybe the other way around? Not quite sure, actually. Up to you. The documentary was excellent. And the movie also gets really good reviews.

Also, I hear Amazon Prime Video is putting out a 'boats' version of "The Grand Tour" this Friday -- a race across the Mekong Delta. No idea if good or bad, but it features boats, so can't be all bad!

Tom

I'd thought I'd seen all the car content on Netflix...but I haven't seen that.

The grand tour boat tour will be good...I quite enjoy those 3 lol.

Saw FvsF, very entertaining with predictable plot, underdog, overcoming insurmountable challenges, victory,...a good yarn with endearing actors.
Another off the shelf quirky but ingenious film was Jojo Rabbit; not from Hwood mold.
Nothing beats a good knee slapping satirical Nazi spoof.

"I think good to see the real thing, then the movie. Or maybe the other way around? Not quite sure, actually. Up to you." - WHAT? YOU WHO? WHICH YOU?
LOL, Tom, never heard you this undecisive,...Hey puddin' head, better retire soon before you forget where you live:
"Horseshoe, Mississauga,...Or maybe the other way around? Not quite sure, actually. Up to you."
AMBER ALERT!!!! Kooky old man seen grazing carrot leaves at Holland Marsh @ 400.

Cheers Lads, nice to see the quarterly new post still furiously active :D

Ferrari was a tiny car company that made a few hundred cars a year. Ford was a huge company that was successfully racing in stock cars, drag cars, Indy, and F1.

The underdog lost

Yup, it was pretty good. Some hilarious reactions to situations, and nice to see new places and something a bit different than the usual. Glad they mixed it up a bit in this one.

I watched the GT seaman special lol. I enjoyed it...but they had dubbed in sound for the jetboat....that bothers me lol. The ocean scene is legitimately sketchy....
