Does anyone know if Six Points Marine stocked deck hardware i.e. - cleats, chocks, navigation lights, bow lights, spotlights - for wooden boats such as Chris Craft, Shepherd, etc., or did they deal strictly in parts for newer boats. Thanks, Captain Jim |

Try PMing Davee he was friends with the owner. I would think you'd have better luck with hardware with some of the muskoka shops though... |

I'm sure you'd have better success finding period correct pieces in Muskoka at one of the vintage restorers!try "Port Carling Boats" for more info! |

You could try Butsons, Dukes, any of the local builders/restorers should be able to steer you to a supplier. A lot of suppliers advertise in "Rudder", the magazine of the Antique and Classic Boat Society. Here are a few: http://www.classicboatconnection.com/ http://www.woodiesrestorations.com/ http://www.woodenboatshop.com/wbs/location.asp this place specializes in Chris Craft Hardware http://www.classicboathardware.com/ |
