Edit... I am planning this for the weekend of May 24-26.
So... I have decided that one weekend this summer I will open up my house and yard to
people that want to run southern Georgian Bay for a day or two. I am not the organizer... It is not an EVENT. I am NOT responsible for you or your kin. But I will bbq and toss back a few around the fire with all comers.. lol. There is a local small marina owner that has been pushing me to get the word out for something like this(he gets super pumped every time Dubber and I show up to launch). I am sure that the launch (2kms from my house... The bay is right across the street from me.) and parking would be next to nothing... I have room to park probably six rigs on my property and I have a large public parking lot across the road(free) for overnighters. You can bring a tent or crash on the floor in my house until it is full, and I have a doghouse/futon in my shop. If the water is too rough... We will entertain ourselves with cold beverages and what have you in the yard, and talk about how awesome we all really are...
This is a feeler... I have no idea what weekend yet. But I want to gauge interest. Regardless I will be running.
Owen Sound is a 2.5hr drive from the GTA, 1.5hr drive from Barrie. 2.5 from Parry sound.
