NEW Hydraulic Jack Plates and hydraulic power trim assemblies have almost tripled in price here in Ontario Canada in the last few years. Your looking at $1500. to over $2500. Canadian by the time you get it delivered.
It’s a good time to repair an old broken one. Most times it’s the hydraulics that have failed. Most of the later models have an internal custom built ram & pump assembly. The early versions usually had an internal ram and external pump.
My experience with these units is the later versions failed sooner and the replacement hydraulic assemblies were very costly.
I think you could find and assemble new separate pieces to replace and repair these assemblies.
Something to think about.
