Well here is a video of the pontoon conversion I did from 2 tubes to triple tubes. Now runs a respectable 33 mph GPS with 115 opti. Picked up 8 mph from the original 2 tubes. It now runs 28 mph with 6 people on board. Very pleased with how much better it sits up and how much more stable and buoyant it is with 8 or 10 people on board.
Much cheaper than having to purchase a new one for $ 40-50K.

I pulled a guy in off the lake after he was running with the top up. It ripped the whole rear half of the railing off the deck, along with his controls. I watched the whole thing happen, by the time I got to him he had jumped in the lake as his boat went past him he grabbed the controls and shut it down. I started yelling at him to get away, then could see he was panicked and holding on for his life. Besides thanking me he didn't say a word, just sat there shaking. I'd be checking all your hardware if you're going to keep running like that!

The top is all new. It was all part of the retrofit. The top or frame doesn't even move at 33 mph even going into a headwind. It is heavy wall square aluminum tube frame, Sunbrella material and good stainless hardware. I just use this boat for cruising with family and friends around the lake at put put speeds. At least now if the weather turns we can get back in a hurry :)

That got my attention… Try your 300+ 15" xs motor… for the fuel mileage of course

Unfortunately neither motor will work... centre tube is set up for 20" motor. Maybe should take out a second mortgage for a 400 and see if we can top 80.

If you need three tubes... buy an STV ;)
