Many of the T750 racers found that moving the steering position farther back in the boat helps the overall performance of the boat. I played around using a jockey seat, but the seat took up to much space and was not easy to re position. I looked for one of these helms, but the only one I found was too costly. This one is a great buy! $75.00 with the steering! Mount your seat and this helm on rails in the boat. You should be able to re position them easily to find the perfect sweet spot.

In its simplest form you could make something like this out of a wrecked Critchfield or Delta.

Overseas ALL of the T boats have the driver position much farther back than before.
