There is a reqular demand for 15 inch drive shafts for OMC nitro cases and complete lower units. The current asking price is $1500.00 to $2000.00 Canadian for a used complete nitro lower unit. Most of these are tired units.
I think there is a opportunity for someone to support the need.
The twin cylinder 45 cubic inch OMC has the nitro.
The inners of these twin cylinder cases are normally in good condition.
The gear set is the wrong ratio...but you can purchase new correct gear sets for the triple.
You need to find used 4 spline and triple fine spline long shaft drive shafts.
Have these cut and welded with the original 2 cylinder drive shafts to make the 15 inch.shaft
Many T guys would welcome the fine spline triple short shaft nitro because they could mount an oval port on a 15 inch mid without having to change the crank.

As for the 6H4 and 6H5 40 and 50 hp Yamaha short shaft drive shafts. There doesn’t seem to be any available. But the current demand is not as great.
