I'm new here, just signed up, so thought I would give a bit of an introduction and say hi.
My name's Mike, and I'm 25, live in Toronto. Growing up my grandparents had a cottage on Isabella Island in Parry Sound. I was fortunate enough for my family to have some fun boats. At about 14 my dad bought a 14 foot Checkmate with a 40 hp Mercury for my brother and I to play around with.
When my brother and I got to be 16 years of age, we were fortunate enough my dad wanted a bigger boat. He went out and got a 17 foot Checkmate with a 115 Mercury.
Unfortunately my grandparents had to sell the cottage when I was 19, so no more boats. Having the need for speed still, got into cars.

Now that my Dad has recently bought a place in Honey Harbour, I can get back into the speed boats!
At the moment I'm mostly looking for a Voodoo with a 70 Yamaha. If there is a sweet deal for something bigger and faster though, no doubt I'll be jumping on that 
. I'm Excited for the summer and boating season, just need a boat! Can't wait!!! Hope to see some of you out there on the water too.

He sold it back in 96 or 97 I think it was. He has 3 kids now at 17, 16, and 13, soon as he had number 1 he sold it for a fishing boat. Our family still have pictures of that boat hanging on our walls too it, was a beauty. I miss that boat every time I think about it.
