I want to thank Himagain for the initiative to rally troops, encourage and organize participation for Drags, both full on and lake racers. Pushing to increase CDN boat count will incent US racers to attend and find a competitive field to race against,....War of 1812 memories are surfacing.

Himagain and RBT have a thorough understanding of safety, risk, liability, insurance requirements.
I will ask you 2 to push the following with Drag participants over the comng weeks:

1) Equipment and Inspection: Please post explicit details of safety equipment( incl: Snell rated helmets, jackets, kill switch, etc...) necessary to race, and pre-race qualifying inspection prior to getting on water, stating time and place for inspection. Inspection pass/fail will be signed off by Drag Rep(RBT) and driver prior to racing.
Managing expectations early, racers can outfit their boats to meet the strict safety requirement expectations.

2) CBF:
a) All participants wanting to race and NOT currently 2012 CBF members MUST join CBF via weekend racing application for weekend only racing, at $50/weekend. If you do not join/pay, you do not race.
Application form: http://cbfnc.ca/cbfnc/images/CBFNC/Form ... ng%201.pdf

b) You MUST complete att'd medical examination form, self-evaluation, and bring it with you:http://cbfnc.ca/cbfnc/images/CBFNC/Form2012/Medical.pdf

c) You MUST sign release bring it along: http://cbfnc.ca/cbfnc/images/CBFNC/Form ... lettre.pdf

3) TORC: Dunnville Drag race daily entry fees are $35 pre-registratiuon, and $40 on site. Example, if you pre-register, are racing Sat and Sun, your weekend entry fees are $70(TORC) and $50(CBF), $120 total.
Race day TORC racing form: http://www.torc.ca/

If anyone/driver has any questions regarding the above, whether their eqpmnt/documentation is compliant, PLEASE ask questions early, we'll help get you on the water for thrills and chills.

Looking forward to a great show!!

Erik Luksep

RBT Please correct me or add anything I miss here

1. Safety gear, Snell cert Helmet, Life line (or equal) Competition jacket with leg straps. Long pants long sleves and close toed shoes

The Goal is to have three classes numbers depending

F1 All out drag boats 300+hp 12 No spray

F2 260-300 hp No 12 inch mids shiftable gear cases, Must have come from the factory with 2 or more seats

Lake racer. Lake boats 3 or more seats Max 260 hp

RBT will divide up the classes at the races and we will try to make it as fair as we can. We are still trying to grow and we need more lake boats for sure.

A rough look at the classes as of right now would be (Keep in mind I am not in charge of this and RBT has the say)

My understanding is that any electric fuel pump needs a kill switch.
