We have several new T Boats racing in 2013. It will really help our inspections is you can get your boat weighed and have an initial safety inspection prior to racing.

From last year T Party weigh in we know that similar boats will be over weight.
Examples: T850
Original Danny Critchfield boats
Marty Brodeur Critchfields
Baker SSV
Florida Allison provided the driver weighs over 165 lbs.
Celled Rapid Craft
Production VooDoo and Erik's VooDoo

Possible?? TOO Light in T850
- Delta
-Tuff Critchfield
-NON Celled Rapid Craft
-Comp VooDoo

We need to have the weight of your boat less DRIVER. That way we only need to weigh the driver at the race if required.

WATERFORD TESTING ON FRIDAY
IF? you are new to T racing please come on the Friday and do some testing. Let us know your plans and if you need help with props or set up.

I'm planning to be out there with at least one boat. I really want to know what the rapid craft actually weighs.

The bare hull should weigh approximately 220 lbs.
My guess is 578 lb. without you in the boat.
With you in the boat 745 to 760 lb. Totally legal!

The weight in T750 is approximately 600 lbs including driver. I am pretty sure you will be over weight.
It is another nice feature about our T Class, the weights are light enough that most boats are over.
You will likely be in the 625 lb range.

The same boat/driver with a 3 cylinder on it could weigh below 725 lbs and that is the reason why we are concerned about Deltas in T850 being too light.

I think it would be difficult to have a T750 under weight unless the boat is an altra light hull. 160 lb range.

So you think I'm 167-182lbs... lol maybe a year ago but close to 200 now. Quitting smoking adds a quick 30lbs in a year

There has not been one boat we have weighed with a 200 lb driver that was under weight. Cam Morley is the largest driver ever in this class. Cam was over 260 lbs. He had the seat position approximately 6 inches farther back and not a lot of set back on the boat. Cam's total weight was 160 lbs over the class minimum. CAM WON THE CANADIAN NATIONALS IN 1997. Scott Whittington's was also over weight by 150 lbs. He was very competitive.

BEING OVER WEIGHT IS NOT GOING TO HURT. IT CAN BE AN ADVANTAGE IN THE ROUGH WATER, THE HEAVIER BOATS STICK AND DON"T FLY AS MUCH. THE EXTRA WEIGHT IS ONLY NOTICED IN A LE MANS START,
