Some clubs overseas are looking at a 90 hp class to replace T850 which currently is loosing their key motor the Yamaha 70CES. The 90 horspower has been in offshore racing for years and the 90 yamaha is still an approved UIM engine.
If the 70 Yamahas get beat up by the OMC's and Rick can only finish sixth, then we may need more Rice power.

There is a picture of one on this link. I have not heard about their performance or the hull length.

Don't give the Dok any Ideas!!

"The Bag Man" ran a production Voodoo with this motor to the low seventies! With a bit of Bottom work on a lighter boat, 80mph could be possible!!

My Allison would likely take flight before it ever went that fast!!

I would LOVE that!! 70's on the course would be possible but corner speed and exit speed would be phenomenal!!!

That would be a great class...Rick and I have talked a couple of times about this, just recently again with the new pictures of the latest tuff 16. It would also be interesting to see a 56er on one with full sst60 compression.

Hey, Thats Cool!! ... I agree a tuff 16 would be the ultimate! ... I'm thinking slide steering like the SS2000 for dual purpose running?

Steve, did you ever run the Tuff 16 with the SST 60 on it? It think it would be slower than what people would expect. The SST 60 motor doesn't like weight or heavy prop load. One of the COR classes is 100 cubic inch. There are several boats that fit into that class.
