Thanks to Jeff re-initiating contact with the CME, TORC will be in the show! This was put together very quickly... we did what we could. Booths left would not fit a drag boat unforunately. But we do have a 20x20 booth open on 4 sides, an island booth. This is gold! There are no entry passes, but parking is free. If you'd like to buy a weekend pass, they are $20 if you notify me before Feb 5th.

Here is a little blurb on the show and link to coupons for discount entry if you are just going for a day.

Come to the Canadian Motorsports Expo February 7-8-9 at the International Centre Toronto and check out the various racing products and vehicles from across North America. Race boats included! On display will be the runner up in the Ontario Powerboat Racing Series Championship for class T850, the #29 Palmerston Machine and Tool boat driven by Kevin McMillen, also the #18 Proctor Marine Racing full carbon fiber Class “A” Runabout of Graham Fralick, and the #418 Team Canada P750 ThunderCat from Fralick Racing that took 5th at the 2013 World Championships in Cornwall England. Don’t forget to bring your shopping list for pit tools, accessories and generic safety gear!

Check out the CME website and download $10 in admission coupons - http://www.canadianmotorsportsexpo.com/ ... 246#/?p=30

Our last hurdle is booth carpet... it is at 6 Mile Lake at Craig Frasers place... if anyone can assist in getting it back to the GTA, please let us know.

For those interested... The 2014 TORC/OPRS shirts are done. If you let me know, I can deliver to the CME show for you to pick up. payment by cash. $20 each, $5 discount for TORC members. I'll post some pics later this week when I dig into the boxes, but they were done by Dave Muir and look great. The shirts have Drags, T's, hydros and Tcats on it. After the show the shirts will be delivered to Dave and he'll be handling the sale of them.

Good to meet you face to face. Was a good show.

Thanks to Jeff Williamson for getting the ball going again and Erik Luksep, Kevin McMillen, Mark Taylor, and Graham Fralick for help with the booth.

Out of this show it looks like the club got a new racer and a small sponsor or two.
