Two e-mails all ready!
WHAT THIS IS ALL ABOUT

[1] we need to get more T750 boats
[2] the competition is T850 is very high and we don't want to lose racers, so this gives the slower T850's an option.
[3] the speed should be easy to reach. You likely do not need a costly prop on your T850
[4] Very low cost for a boat and boat...$1000.00 to $1500.00
[5] the cottage boats will fit
[6] it's a little slower and parents will be more interested in having the kids race.
[7] older racers with sore bodies may like it better.

Isn't a Mini Voodo well below the 4.0 metre size requirements of T750?

You need boats that fit your rules, or try and change your rules to suit. "Run what ya brung" is fine so long as what they bring meets the minimum/maximum rules. 11' boat with 60hp doesnt come close to fitting into any class. Why give a guy false dreams?

Andrew, its one boat! The guy likely will not show anyway! There is no need to post a negative comment like that.

To reply to the e-mails.
It is cancelled because TORC wants to leave the classes exactly as they are and any boats not legal in the current rules can't run. The focus as always is on safety. It doesn't mean that T750 boats can't race. It means that only LEGAL T750 boats race and we cannot have slower T850 or other combinations in the class.
I should have got approval from TORC executive prior to doing the post.

Thank you Don, no worries, I was the fun wrecker haha. Lets figure a way to get guys legal, its at any races not just torc, problem is if we have an incident with a non-legal boat there are major liability issues and we don't want a little mishap to cost everyone else their summer of fun :) Great to see so much growth and interest, if you were at Erinsville you may have even seen me piloting one for some hot laps ;)
