Post subject:  Same Model Boat In Both T750 and T850..But a different Ride!

These videos show what it is like to race in these two very exciting classes. Watching from shore doesn’t give you the actual experience of driving.
The onboard cameras do.
Both videos are Delta boats:
The water conditions are similar in both videos.
You can clearly see the difference in performance between the two classes and how the water conditions plus the additional performance of the T850 engine affects the boats ride and handling characteristics during the race.

Water conditions are likely *not* similar in both.
Consider it from the driver's perspective, and not the weather or wind (natural chop) being similar...
You have to look at placement in the pack - other racers' wakes, how close are the pack of boats directly in front of you...

I only see one other boat in Jake's vid. The others, if any, are far enough in front to maybe not be as much of a factor...

This year in HBTN, the Delta(s) at the front have an easier time by far - same hull.

Any boats at the front have an easier time...

I think it is pretty common for T750 boats to use more setback than T850, and then setup (of CoG) can be tuned..
