The CBF has secured a 10x40 booth at the Toronto International Boat Show! January 11-20, 2013.
http://www.torontoboatshow.com/

G803 is the booth.

Not possible without financial contributions from CBF and APBA ThunderCat group.

All boats, display items, and most the man power will be provided by the local CBF club TORC.

Items on display:
"C" Stock Hydro - Erik Luksep
750 ThunderCat - Todd Billinger/Will Hunter
T850 Monohull - Craig Fraser
Drag engine on a display stand
two TV's playing videos
display of safety gear
lots of banners/flags and such
info table

I'll use this thread to provide updates.

I will be asking for volunteers to man the booth.

If you have any ideas, feel free to share them.

If you have any kickass videos or pictures, please get them to me. I hope to work with Kris L to make a looped video for the show that is an couple hours long that just keeps playing.

That's great Andrew! I may be able help out for a shift on Saturday...

As for video... I may have some footage, but nothing fast or race related... just an old Challenger that NEVER stops porpoising!!

Great Dave.

The porpoising video... maybe keep for a future "How not to set your boat up" video? ;)

Great, thanks!

Why any racer "needs" a helmet is beyond me... we all are thick headed and have rocks in the remainder area for deciding racing is a good idea. haha. But yeah... in a bouncy castle boat... certainly not requied. :D

That's sweet! No room to squeeze a sweet drag boat in the booth? Lol.

as mentioned... 10x30 booth. A drag boat on trailer with motor would take most the booth. We'll need a shoe horn to get in what we have. :) If we put a professional looking display together and have it well staffed, next year could be bigger, who knows.

True. I was thinking about that after I posted. Lol. A drag motor will still be sweet!
