Winter is here for a while so I thought I'd start a thread to see who has what for sleds in the HPBC world here.

Here's mine. 2012 Polaris Rush 800 Pro R. Bought it last year at 1326 miles. It has almost 3600 on it now. Yes, the stock pistons are as bad as everyone says they are. I just pulled them out and they looked terrible and measured up even worse. No way they would have lasted another season. Just installed the RK Tek head and piston kit. Now I just have to install my adjustable weight kit and I'm ready for snow.

Haha! Awesome shot! I'd keep her though. They don't get much more reliable than that

Here's my 08 Nytro - Love the motor, handling is taking more effort to setup than it should

Image

And Hevi Kevi - I think we met last year on a sled ride, I just put it together seeing this post. Is that your sled at the end of the line at VanTol's? I believe you got towed home that night!?

Image

Small world.

Small world.

 Small world indeed. Yep, that was at Corie's place. I'm not really putting a face to the sled... Ya, we went to the Top End for wings that night. No tows last year but had to limp it to Ben's place that night and pick it up the next day. You must know Kevin and Tony then too. I think they were both on that trip as well. If you'd like to learn to be a sled mechanic, I'd invest in one of these. Broken Jackshaft, Electric Start, and a wore out set of pistons and rings all in less than 3600 miles... I can't really say I'm impressed

This joke comes to mind anytime someone mentions snowmobile repairs ... so true ...

How to get ready for the snowmobile season -

Place your hands in a bucket of ice water for 20 minutes. Put the carburetor from your lawn mower in the bottom of your deep freeze. Now climb in the deep freeze, shut the lid and overhaul it while holding a pen light in your mouth. NOTE: Advanced riders do this with a Leatherman tool.

I'm sure the boater's joke involves practicing carb rebuilding while leaning over your swimming pool.
