This is NOT my boat As far as I can tell it's in North Carolina. Needs stringers, floor and transom http://www.screamandfly.com/showthread.php?278209-Red-triad-back-up-for-sale https://www.facebook.com/groups/1389632714608406/ __________________ |

Tom, How hard was this job to do? Being so open and all it looks like it may not be that hard to work on..and I like the red.. |

It seemed a like a lot of work at the time (and it was) but if I had to do it again (I was thinking about it - but don't have the time right now) It wouldn't be too bad. The transom would be a little tuff, but the rest is pretty straight forward. I beefed mine up a bit with extra cross members and I deleted the floor well. I love it now that it's all flat. I also thickened the floor to 1/2" instead of the 3/8". reinforced the seat mounts and foot throttle mount too. I had to do the stringers under the deck - that was a lot of time up front - so - no so nice. I think its not a bad deal - all in all. Your probably looking at $1,000 ish in materials. plus 700 in fuel for the trip and the tax at the border. |
