I just bought the motor..but came into some cash and wanna go bigger. Its off my 2001 200 opti..the oowerhead was replaced by quicksilver with a BRAND NEW 2008 225hp block. All the new style injectors etc. Only stuff that is still thenold style is the starter, oil reservoir and and computer. The computer was sent away and flashed to 225 with some little tweaks and rev limiters have been removed.
There is no way to know the actual hours on the motor. The previous ownrr blee his gearcase and bought a brand new 225 pro xs.
The ooerrhead was checked over..through and through at AIM outboards by Crankbearing and absolutely no codes..nothing wrong and the comoression has notbbeen taken but the powerhead is MINT. New air pump, fuel rails etc This is a problem free..nearly new 2008 drop on poeerhead for any 3 liter opti. Leakdown and compression test can be done. Any questions etc feel free to ask.
