There is a lot of support from the T750 racers on this site. The set up of your boat and the total weight....boat, motor and driver is most important in your prop selection. Race props are COSTLY! Based on other combos similar to yours . Here is what we have found. Bone stock no race prep......51 to 53 mph......11 3/4 to 12 inch diameter......20 to 21 pitch If the outfit is light........54 to 56 mph.............12 x 22 or 23 pitch IF its heavy................44 to 48 mph..............11 1/2 x 18 pitch The race guys will turn over 7000 rpm which shortens engine life......the lake runners will run more pitch and run 6300 to 6600 rpm. The top speed is the same it just takes longer to get there with more pitch...racers want acceleration so they run less pitch. If your boat is nose heavy and a lake runner you should try a chopper style prop. EVERY BOAT IS DIFFERENT. THE PROP THAT WORKS ON A SIMILAR OUTFIT MAY NOT WORK ON YOURS AND THE REVERSE CAN BE SAID AS WELL. TAKE YOUR TIME AND TRY EVERY PROP YOU CAN. THE PROP SELECTION WILL MADE THE BIGGEST CHANGE COMPARED TO ANYTHING ELSE. |

We have a similar combo to you as Don had mentioned. Center steer voodoo, 60hp omc , lighter weight set up etc. We have only been out once with a borrowed 22p Ron Hill cleaver. Boats mannerism was great, accelerated hard and recorded 53.8 on gps. And we have throttle stop on it as my son learns the boat. We have a 21P four blade cleaver we want to try next. Hope this helps you get a start! Cheers Mark |
