Looking to add trim to my 3 cylinder shorty hoping to find a reasonably priced Yamaha Pro 50 mid section with power trim or some kind of external trim unit I could adapt and run with.

Complete Pro 50 units with the clamp brackets and trim are costly and difficult to locate. They come with a 6H3 trim. Most of the time sellers just sell the trim and not the bracket. The good news is you can buy the bracket at a good price and the common 6H1 trim from a 70 or 90 long shaft Yamaha fits in the Pro 50 bracket. The 6H1 is easier and less costly. Another option is to go with the later model yamaha large single ram, 2 wire trim. Several fellows have used the 40 hp 4 stroke bracket and modified it to work. Being newer models they will have less hours on them.

How much would you let it go without the bracket? Any chance I could get a couple of pictures.
