OK, The laughing can start now. A friend brought a lovely looking boat (cheap), BUT it's an I/O OMC (vintage), SO, took it to a marina to be serviced and after about 2 weeks they call and say sorry No can do, parts not available! What parts, don't know yet! Don't have model info yet. BUT does anyone know of a source of manuals and parts for these boats, new or used. (his wife wants running)

Jeeez...he's in a tough spot. if the drive works than use it until it breaks. I know it's hard but any money he puts into that drive combo is wasted. There are very few parts around and they eat themselves regularly. If he loves the boat get the hole filled and buy a merc. You can buy a complete merc package for $1500...and it usually comes with an 87 grew.
