The knees where not glassed in properly. Not sure how the quality improved on models years after that?

The quality when down hill after that....then went into free fall in the late 90's-present.

I had dubbers boat running 79 with my 225 and a TERRIBLE lower. With a cone and cleaned up I'm positive it would have broke 80. There is extra gel on in the pad area for blueprinting that I never got around to doing...but I know would free up some speed. I think with a good strong 225 the boat would run 80-82 and maybe 85 in the fall in 5gallon bay...with a normal everyday set up. Set on Kill with 17 minutes of setup and prop testing...who knows...

I think dubber will hit 80mph and be done.... I think he needs a touch more setback because of the bow tank. The quality is not an issue with jon's. Richard you never told me about his pad.... He needs to get to work. Riding in that boat it feels like a tank.... It's sooooo solid. Even if it rides rough It sure is not gonna break.

I say we plumb the NOS when He leaves it in OS some week this summer.. It will be just up the road from me. We will hook the nos to the down trim button. He will never see it coming.... WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
