Just took another look at the pics, love it!! You know there's something going on when the cav plate is just barely under water!

Thanks everyone ! i'm buzzing still..

just to touch on some points-
Oil injected
Mid grade
revs to 7k

Some surprises i didn't expect -
midrange wasnt as impressive as my other motor
110 with a helmet on feels like 70 with no helmet on
shifter is reversed (easy fix i think)

.dude that is NOT a mid grade motor...

And your tach is fucked....but these motors don't like anything but premium unless you've got some loose heads on it...

I have a sneaky suspicion that there just might be another boat in the drags this year!!!

Great numbers, James. That whole package looks, and obviously runs, great.

You can help with the balance by putting a light shifter in!! :D

Compression vs octane doesn't really compute... Depends on duration more than anything. If it's tuned for a slow burn, the higher octane makes sense. If it is set up for a quick burn, less octane works better.

Those be some crazy fast numbers! You always seem to slip into the best setup ever out of box :)
