Just remember that every fast venom has gone over...including this one...and going over at 110 will be not good for James. At these speeds there is no "be safe" or "drive carefully" because if anything happens in that boat you're more than likely fucked...like dead fucked. I'm sure it has teens in it but I'm serious when I say...we all already know the boat is fast...don't feel that you have to prove anything to anyone...because no one actually cares if it goes 110 or 112 or 115..

Sorry for the rant but I don't want to see it all go to shit so you can be cool on the Internet lol.

Ken:" Didn't you Kite that Venom already, James I know you have see this on S&F, but read it again
Larry Gempp Jr....the boat is too wide imo to safely run those speeds. Id rather live to ride another day….

He is right  where do you stop

Those be some crazy fast numbers! You always seem to slip into the best setup ever out of box :)

i wouldn't say slip..

im going to dig at mitchie on this one....

A) my superboat would have already done 80

B) i spent thousands on the challenger. three motors, hull mods,core.... ect

C) We know the 3.0 sporty does 114 on kens boat so thats a no brainer.

D) my super boat would have already done 80

whoops i said that twice........ lol

Sorry James, I wasn't trying to downplay your efforts. All I was getting at was if I were in your position my boat would likely go slower or have a marginal gain the first time out after an overhaul such as this :)

i was bringing that up as a point. every single riot has been blown over except this one. there arent many venoms that have gone for top speed and the three that have blow over in a gust of wind. doesnt mean you cant run these boats. just choose the right time to do it... AND use your judgment as an operator to make that call.

and i quote this from the original owner of my venom

Me- "How did it blow over ? anything i need to watch?"

Him- "Not really just bad wind chop, a lot of wind and overtrimmed plus my prop had a lot of bow lift"

Me-" What speeds were you going? "

Him- " i was playing catch up to like 10 allisons lol, when i flipped it was about 95"

My point is drive it as safe as you can to minimize the risk.

Says the guy wheelieing into the wind on video lol.

The Riot is a good comparison...and from what I've seen of Kevin is that he spins drag props on his drag motor....and doesn't chase top end. I'm not asking you to justify yourself or your boat..I'm just saying to get into a pissing contest with Ken (who CLEARLY has a faster, cooler, awesomer boat...though I may be biased)...for bragging rights is meaningless. If you need to go 115 fine...but Mitchie won't think you're any cooler  .

That boat will run faster just fine, had a buddy that ran 114 in his and it could duplicate it multiple times. Dont be affraid to add some weight on the passenger side to help the balance. Try it again before the icebergs start forming
