As some of you know I'm completely redoing my Allison right now. Looks like I might just have to build the transom a little stronger for this beast. I found this on the shelf at Topgun tonight It's a Wayne Taylor omc power head. There's a 15" mid for it too but I'm leaning towards a 12, I think i know someone who can build a nice light clamp for it!!!

Are you gonna stick with the OMC? or adapt a sporty???

Has that Motor got the original electrics or Yamaha?

If he's running a 15" Taylor mid or a 12" of his own creation you can pretty much guarantee that he's running a 2.5 sporty....but I still call shenanigans...

Both mids are drilled for the 2.5 merc case. I still have the 280ph too, it's not going anywhere. It's got msd ignition on it. Where's the shenanigans now Ricky. I wonder if it would be legal in lake racer on the 15" mid??
