the second AE is WAY over priced, stock motor, no cone, sportie, no hydrallic steering , there will be more inside the boat too. the first looks like a good deal. If I where looking I would have checked this one out. Dont let the OMC scare you it will run hard for years of service with proper maintaince. You already get a coned motor and foot throttle, you could probably enjoy this boat as is for a few seasons..

The first boat seems a little cheap to me. I wonder about the core and transom?

This my concern, If I buy something cheap will I have structure issues with the boat?

I would rather buy a mint boat.....motors can always be re and re lol

But check the floor/core/and stringers...Tom ran into that with his and by all accounts it was a nice boat. It's a tough game...you gotta really lay eyes on this stuff. Like James said expensive doesn't always mean sound...

Thats the issue DoktorC....hard to check the condition of the core and stringers unless the floor is cut out first.

The transom I can check by applying weight on the motor while looking for flex.

Depending on what you looking to spend Top Gun has a couple of STV's he'd sell and lots of motors to select from.

What are you looking for, a tunnel Vee or a good deal on a fast boat? Hoppy's Vector is for sale (James' old one).
