So, Jay, does the little floaty key chain thingy come with it? And, is it colour matched to the interior?

I love rants!! They're the best!!

I hear you on this. Selling is a PITA. I can't tell you how many times I've rushed home from work, or stayed at home all day Saturday waiting for some dick to show up and look at whatever I'm selling. And nothing! It tends to turn you into a hard ass seller. Just because of all the other idiots. That being said, I've met some really nice people as well. That are decent to deal with.
When you decide to sell on kijiji, you have to have it in your head that it's going to be a pain, and just grin and bear it.

i had a young ski kicker show up to look at my xcr, i had it running on a track stand, sounded amassing i might add.,, he made an offer, i said, "yes ill take that but iv told 20 people to fuck off that offered that price, so your lucky im in a selling mood"..

he then proceeded to ask more trivial questions, then asked if he could test ride it.. well um NO!! it's not insuredc for you and if you die your parent/s will sue me Pal!!!

he said he would think about it..,never heard from him or saw him again

makes me wonder...

I am dealing with a guy now that seems to be in my ball park so we will see. I told him before we get crazy I am going to get the boat out of storage and take more detailed pic's so that when I drive 6hrs and he drives 6hrs that there is nothing undisclosed and the price won't be negotiated because you find some tiny mark that I didn't sent you a picture of.... He thought that was a great Idea. I also told him that I wanted to wait until the water was soft so I could fire it up and run it and send him a video so that I know and he knows that everything is in good working order and that I don't get plastered all over threads becasue of something stupid. I don't sell junk

Hope the deal goes through for you Jay.....happiest days of your life are the day you buy your boat and the day you sell it....then you get to do it all over again with your next one :D

I was one of these people.....and its due to my unstable job situation.

Only working 2-3 month contracts and during them times I was hope to get extended or permanent...only to find out bad news.....and then be called back 2-3 months later lol

So yes it is frustrating for both seller/buyer...depending on the situation....and for the past year I have decided to wait till I go shopping again.

When i was selling the cat back in the day, some guy was all gung ho to to drive 3 hrs to come see it like 2 hours after i posted it. Told buddy to give me a week to get it pull out, un-tarpped, spring clean, get motor fired up etc. budy insisted on comming next day. Guy shows up and starts bitching about a bit of oxidation, inside of the boat was dirty bla bla bla. Like i told you its in winter storage and to wait its your own fault lol
