I don't see any reason why they'd withhold info at one of their own engine training courses, we usually know what's comin down the pipe long before it hits. But we'll see....

That's true, you'd need to know because you'll be fixing it. Is that at centennial college? Super cool course it sounds like

No, Ford training school in Oakville, I've spent probably a month there off and on since october

So would my R8 or M3 engine have a crank like that? They both redline over 8k

The M3 I know has that, the R8 most likely has that as well but I won't say yes for sure there... My s2000 has it as well, that's why I'm 260 hp and only 190 torque.

According to the google machine the R8 is a flatplane.. Deadly cool car...that's according to me lol.

They are extremely cool cars, but I've heard from many people that they understeer on a track. I've never really seen them go quick on a track, but that's probably because the drivers are afraid of anything happening to their prized possession.

That would be my case, if I ever go on a track it will be in someone else's car. No insurance on the track.
Maybe it understeers, I wouldn't feel it on the road. If anything the M3 would oversteer, very quick to turn but BMW runs a lot of camber on their cars, that helps a lot.

Safe to say both my cars are better cars than I am a driver.
