DOC you are right. So far I have not found the Viper anyway. The kids think a Tuff 16 would be a better choice. No rush, but if the right boat comes up, I will buy it. This retirement stage is giving me too much time to think. I have all these ideas, I just hope I have the energy to complete a few of them!

I wanted a viper too but bought a 16 DL because it was easier to find, better built and easier to use as a ski boat for the kids as they grow up on our small lake. Mine was cheap but they seem to be very well put together and it's already got a bow tank.

Another boat to look at is a 16' Laser..

Sorry..ya...that's probably the most fun. I was thinking skiing and water sports lol. The Alliston would run good with the mod 90 for sure.

I think I got 53 and change with 100 hp on my 16 Baja. A bigger boat than a Viper or a Tuff 16.

The Tuff runs well with 3 cyl power.

Hi guys. Long time reader, first time poster here. I noticed DokterC mentioned a 16 foot laser. Are the
laser hulls easy enough to find up here? So far the ones I have found all seem to be in the southern states.
