Well I'm not sure exactly.. From what I found on the intra web is that the 20"2.6 carbed yamahas are 415 lbs. now the Hpdi cowls feel a bit heavier than the original one.. Much less weight from the 250xs'

So fairly comparable. Yes those XS would be way more! Is you setback similar to others with twin 2.5 Talons?

The talon looks pretty sweet with the twin yammies and about 200 pounds of weight loss is pretty significant. The mercs were over a thousand pounds of motor lol

Less sinking and it looks a lot less likely to blow over at cruising speed. Much better combo looking at it from the shore...
