With Fall here I want to pump/store all engines with ethanol free fuel with stabilizer.
Having searched top fuel brand Interwebsites for ethanol free fuel claims/data, it's apparent there is ambiguous and conflicting information. Some sites suggested gas bar manager discretion determines whether to supply ethanol free premium(WTH?).
Per Shell VPower 91 pump decals they claim ethanol free, will assume that's true, but I'm seeking other sources for quality and price.

MacEwen fuels(http://www.macewen.ca/) is cited, largely in Ontario, a bar in Barrie, and on 400, North of Waubashene. Their pricing always a few cents cheaper than majors. Their website not clear whether premium is ethanol-free. I called 2 stations( Waub & Barrie), they said 'it depends on the day'. So I called their head office, their fuel products Manager reported their premium is always Ethanol free. With quite a few folks close to Gbay/Muskoka, they're convenient on 400 just north of Waub bridge; there is a Shell on 12, 1km west of 400, another in Coldwater(cheaper).

BTW there is a huge range of same day pricing in central Ontario; about a month ago Shell V91 was 1.24 in Brechin, 1.11 in Orillia, 40km down the road. Rarely seen it that wide. But that's another topic/thread.

Or pick up a can of Klotz or VP race fuel and be done with it.
Bit more money but if you're worried about the ethanol at least you know what you're getting....or not getting.

I have been buying Ultramar 91 Octane at the narrows (Atherly). The pumps are labeled 10% ethanol for 87 and 89 octane but not for 91. I think it's OK, and it's almost always the cheapest place between Orillia and Windsor.

Windsor regular ranged $0.89-$1.15 and back to $0.89 last week. Weird. Detroit gas station near my office didn't move a penny all week.

I also called them when they took over, asked if they would bring back 93 or 94 . I don't remember them saying that the 91 was alc free. Good to know. If you are running/draining it out and using it up then PC 94 is great with good oil , just need to bring it from south.

I use Shell 91 in all my toys. The Ultramar 91 is another good option.

Shell 91 is also my go to gas for all my toys.

Here are facts for Esso products in the Ontario market areas you asked about:
87 - will have 10% ethanol ("E10 fuel")
89 - will have 5% ethanol
91 - will have no ethanol
93 (only in some Toronto locations) - 10% ethanol

Ethanol is blended into gasoline at the distribution terminal immediately before it goes into the tanker truck. It will be very difficult in this market area to find ethanol-free 87 octane fuel. Here's why: oil companies in Canada are required to comply with a federal environmental law regarding minimum annual percentage of renewable fuel content in gasoline. It's based on an annual average for the fuel they sell country-wide. Installing ethanol-handling equipment is expensive and a fairly serious pain in the ass. For this reason, refiners focus their ethanol-blending equipment at only the largest distribution facilities, in the highest-volume markets (i.e. GTA), and only on the highest-volume gasoline grade (i.e. regular 87). in order to comply with the regulatory requirement. It is therefore actually easier to find non-ethanol 87 in locations a far distance from the GTA. Other large markets like Vancouver have a similar situation.

- Esso 91
- Ultramar 91
- MacEwen 91

across the big street from Six Mile, at GBL on South Bay, their pump has a sign that says ethanol free marine fuel 89 octane. The Boat Club in HH sells the same. Last I remember the price is $1.20
